Today- MADathletes get some meathead strength and then a beautiful 20 minute amrap with C2B pull ups db snatches and db squat cleans. This little off season strength cycle is already paying some huge dividends. Build a bigger motor…that’s the current goal for this cycle. Plus, sometimes they get a pump and that’s always fun. Of course, all athletes get that individual adjustment that is tailored just for them.
Some questions you should ask yourself…

The 2015 Reebok Crossfit Open is just about finished. So many Madathletes leveled up this year. I am super proud of all of the madathletes that put in so much work to improve skills strength speed and mentality.

The key to a great season is a great off season.
This trumps all the little magical technique suggestions and ideas. If your off season didn’t prepare you for all levels of CrossFit, then even the best technique video will not help.
For some of you the season is just beginning…
You have regionals upcoming and the games locked in your sights.
For others this journey has brought you to your off season and the time for evaluation and assessing goals has come. It’s time to make that plan and start working on improving those skills and of course building a bigger motor.
If you don’t have your complete plan put together… you don’t have your coach (everyone needs a coach, even Rich Fronning has a coach), if you don’t have your nutrition plan set, if you don’t have your gymnastic skills, Oly skills, endurance and mobility plans set. It is time to decide and take action.
Change only comes from taking action.
